I've been using 3M precise mousing surfaces now for the past 7 years... They are brilliant. Indeed I hate normal mouse mats which feel bulky under my hand/arm. The only "issue" I have is that they simply aren't big enough! To be fair, no mouse mat is really big enough. I work on multiple large screen high resolution monitors and, without setting the mouse pointer speed ridiculously high, a cannot do a full width screen pass with the mouse without lifting it and starting again. My solution is perhaps a little odd, but I buy the surfaces in 4's. I then trim two sides of each square and then lay them out to form a much larger surface (40cmx30cm). The only disadvantage of this is that you then have to stick the surfaces down (I use double sided carpet tape!) So 3M, why not make a bigger one, roughly four times th e size of this one... I'd buy them!
